Digital Communications Officer

Communications and marketing professional with extensive experience in project and campaign management, social media, market research, and outreach programs. Carmen’s knowledge is fueled by her background in a variety of industries from health care to news media. As Digital Communications Officer at the Mass Cultural Council, she is instrumental in the positioning and communication of the Council and its’ various programs.

Carmen leverages her uncanny organization skills to support the Council's communications efforts for a variety of programs and projects. Carmen’s background includes working at the Emmy- award winning ad agency ThinkArgus, a Masters degree from Suffolk University, and stints as marketing and social media manager at El Planeta, a Boston-based Latino newspaper, and as a media coordinator for a political party in her native Venezuela. 

Carmen is an active member of the Association of Latino Professionals For America (ALPFA).
